what is the stock idle for a 2.2 2000 just wondering, i had a 97 z24 and it would idle at about 650 700 when warm but the 2.2 idles at 900 i was just thinking thats a little high but i could be wrong.

Is it auto or manual? Auto's idle lower than manuals, usually 200-300 RPM lower.

630 for auto

900 for manual

^ Mine often dips below 600 I'd love for it to idle at about 800-900 though...

i get that VERY few times.... but it does do it at times.

My 2200 SFI idle at approx. 700-750RPM when fully warm.

i just swapped clusters and have a 98 2200 manual, and i'm idling at 1200-1350

I dunno if that's normal, talked to BaggedCav and he said his idles at 1100

When my IAC valve came unplugged, i was idling at 4000... but i usually get 1250-1500ish on startup, when its warm its about 1000 or so (according to the tac anyway).
