thats where your IAC idle air control valve goes....
its like a round thing with a pintle that moves in and out to control the idle goes...
remove it from your old TB...
alright le tme go check it out right now
alrightt the piece is in there ....
but the idle still goes krayzie 1k - 2k
like im revving krayzie
to do a test i slight put my finger in that hole and it idled fine
but when i put that IAC idle air control valve
the idle goes krayzie still
is the part not doing wat its supposed too ?
is there supposed to be a spring that goes in between that and that TB
nah, just a small thin rubber ring....
theres a piece in that small can that retracts and extends to control idle....
but it should be a rubber ring gasket between that part and the TB....
okay.....i must have missed that some place cause i didnt see one at all while installing it ...unless on e of my friends losti it
so this spring i hear about has nothing to do with the part im missing ?
it shouldnt... the only spring i can think of goes on the throttle rotor which returns the plate closed after its open....
the pintle (part of the iac that extends and retracts) is pretty much like a motor.
wherever you installed, or better yet, took apart the old one, check around the floor and all for a small black rubber ring.
you prob are seeping air past it if it doesnt have a tight seal.
im gonna post ur pics real qwuck make sure
i know wat ur talking about...i think i know wat ur talking about
but imjust one of those people i have to be shown stuff not be told ...lol

yup, when you press on the gas the cable attaches to that arm and rotates the plate open, when you let off it makes sure it closes/
