You will notice a difference. You will notice a larger difference if you also take out the air intake resonator from the car also. If you have not already done so.
FYI the price of that filter on ebay with shipping would be the same price if you went to Kragen or Autozone to purchase as well.

Mostly sound from removing the resonator.
But a filter that you can clean is waaaayyyy worth it. I've had this kandn filter for over a year. Been it two cars and made a dyno run with it. A OE filter with 7K miles on it versus a clean kandn, i gained 5hp and 7ft lbs. Seach for cheap horsepower, and it should come up.

does removing the intake resonator do anything else besides make my car sound different?
you might gain like 1 or 2 HP. but nothing noticeable
