I have a 98 z24 5 spd. What could i swap out of the 2.3 ho for performance? I know the intake mani, but i was wondering if would be better off just to switch the whole head, or get the secret cams? Port and polish either way when i take it off. Also, how would this affect the reliability?

you have to modify the 2.3 head to fit the 2.4 block. The intake cam doesn't work with the 2.4 Ecm.
The compression goes to 11.4:1 so high octane gas or water injection is needed.

So, do i just need to get an intake cam from another vehicle? Or would i be better off taking the ecm from the ho also? What kind of power difference would i get from this assuming that i got a port and polish at the same time? Would this be better for a boosted app?
