How many companies have you tried out?
Which was best for you.... disadvantages + advantages of the intake?
I believe you are not able to get Cold air intake for a 2.4L so Short Ram is only sold for 2.4L?
Are u satisfied w/ the intake you got (nice sound?, good HP)?
this w/ probably help ppl in buying an intake for there 2.4L? Post well.
Thanks.
yeah ive already read that... i wanna hear from ur experience w/ intake not only that guys
i have the AEM short ram and am happy with it.... i got a killer deal on it and couldnt pass it up... just kno an intake alone will not give u a crazy gain in power but it does help, just look at the stock intake and you'll see what i mean... when i first installed it i found myself pushing my car alot more just to hear it scream...

Now Blazing: Northern Lights
whered u gett the killer deal
its a tube with a better filter, gains 5 horse....maybe
dont matter name brand,
i bout my intake from ebay, i forget the name, but i put it on and sounds good with my 2.4l , makes it sound like it has exhaust lol

Somewhat true, i would say the filter could make more of a difference than the pipe. Also, you could build a true cold air no problem! For a lot less than you could buy an AEM for ya know?
wha parts would i need to make my own air filter?
wha material and wha are the materials right name

if you are bold and actually know what you are doing....
the right kinda gauze, steel mesh, expoxy, metal or plastic end piece, and rubber end piece....
alot easier to simply buy one, and def cheaper.

not always true...
simply keep the filter clean and you will be fine.
with the pipe theres three things you look to maximize, velocity, volume, density of air
you minimize viscousity...
also for every bend you slow airflow. quickest line to a-b is a straight line.
alot of this stuff has been posted on over and over and over, its really easy to find if any one of you would simply use the search button and type in INTAKE.
you;d learn a crap load more than you know now, see peoples results, testing, views etc...
and to the guy who wrote

unlike yourself, i actually used the search button, did research, and used many examples of what people have ALREADY posted, to back my claims. so its not just MY views, its a summary of whats been posted in this forum over the past 3 years.
i just threw a cone on the end of the stock tubing for now
