exhaust welding

I recently bought a cat-back ehaust from OBX with 2.5 piping for my 2.4 that was suppost to be an easy bolt on and ended being a very difficult cutting and welding job. I figured that it would just bolt on to my cat no problem but I guess the exhaust was intended for a high flow cat which I don't have just the stock one. Anyway it was too large to bolt on so instead of returning it I just decided to cut of some piping and weld it onto the end of the stock resonator. I've been driving the car for a couple of weeks now with no problems and the exhaust has a nice sound. I was just wondering if welding the the exhaust onto the end of the stock resonator is going to cause any problems or will I be loosing any power from not having the 2.5 piping from the cat back?

you will just lose some power. custom catback is the best way to go man. lesson learned.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
