I just want to make sure that I understand all that i need before i spend all of this money. I have a 2002 cav with a 2200 5spd. friend of mine has an '03 5spd with 8500 miles on the motor. it was rolled, hence its totaled. I can get the whole car and i want to know what else i am going to need. I think that i'm going to have to fab one of the tranny mounts? right? if i can get all of the other bs i need to make it work i have no problem making it physicly fit. thanks for any help

You will need the motor, tranny, PCM, harnesses, hoses, ignition system, fuel rail, fuel lines and pretty much everything that's in the engine bay (for example if there is cruise control, you might have to take that).

I'm pretty sure you need the BCM too as its programed to the ecotec ecu

as long as it is in a stock 03 cav i will have it, so if thats it i'm golden......boosted eco here i come!!

Take everything out of the engine bay of the wrecked car and put it in yours. You can cut out the tranny mount (might be the same since you have a 5 speed already). Everything from the enginebay and swap it over. It iwll be a easy swap.
