Can anyone who owns the Dual Exhaust setup from RKSport record the sound of the exhaust? Also, a few pics on a stock Sunfire GT would be nice, im trying to see if i like the exhaust on the car, but dont really know how it would look, or how it would sound.
i don't like it honestly. i'm a fan of good single catback setups for 4 cylinders. 1 bank, 1 exhaust exit. that's my philosophy.

i got the exhaust on my sunfire with the gt rear bumper...looks great and sounds good upto about 4k when it gets raspy...i'll try to get some audio/video tomorrow

-exhausts are raspy becuase people dont add resonators....
-exhausts will sound different on each and every car, even if you take it off one car and put the same exhaust on another.....
-you can make any exhaust sound like you want it to by adding resonators.... meaning no matter if azspitfire posts his and you like it or not, you can ultimately change the sound of it....
I would like to hear the single exhaust setup from them...

my single sounds better once warmed up , i havent decieded if im gonna go with a 14" or 18" res yet
i heard one on a 01 sunfire gt...sounded like ass...my 2.5" sounded better without a resonator
mine is a 97 2.4

Hmm, a little raspy for my tastes, and the mufflers stick soo far out too. Is the Magnaflow setup that bad too? I know that the RKSport uses Magnaflow mufflers, but i believe their setup has an oval shaped tip. Anyone suggest another Dual setup other than the RKSport? Reason for sticking with the Duals is because its what I have now, and it made sense to get a Catback that matched my GT.

you DID read the part where people have posted you can add a resonator to change the sound right?
also that no two cars sound the same?

few tips....
when you do dual exhaust, once you get to the Y pipe split, the pipe size should drop roughly a quarter inch...
so if you have 2.25 from the header back, or exhaust manifold, or cat on back.... when you get to the Y pipe, you should drop the pipe thereafter and the mufflers to 2 inch, to somewhat keep the same velocity and it def will sound alot better....
basically when you dont, its like throwing a metal alarm clock down a metal hallway.... lots of bad sounds and echo...

I did, the biggest part is that i didnt really like how the exhaust looked, the pipes were way way too far out for my taste.
Sorry no sound clips but I do have the Magnaflow Dual on my eco. My opinion, sounded good until I put a cat and header on, still sounds ok, but it has a really ricey sound to it.

if you have EVER seen an exhaust system, you should know that you can move the pipes in or even change the style of mufflers on the end of the pipes....
