Ok, i was wondering what it would take (translation: is it possible) to put the exhaust off a C5 corvette on my sunfire, with the 4 tips sticking out the middle, and what it may sound like, considering its only 4 cylinders,
if not, i was wondering if u more experienced guys can help me design an exhaust, i want something with more of a low rumbling to it as opposed to that really high whiny fart noise.
well firstly, you gotta realize, you drive a 4 cylinder....
only way to really get anything deep is to add alot of power, or a bigger engine....
you;ll never hear a mouse sound like barry white
corvette exhaust on a sunfire....
if you are doing it for show, cool... but performance, the pipe size will prob be an issue.... too large means extra weight, decrease in exhaust velocity, and slower car.
also remember, "hp makes noise, noise doesnt make HP"
meaning low rumble, hard goal, gonna need some resonators no doubt, and def some power in the car.
but you gotta remain realisitc.... there was once a post where i guy wanted to add a ferrari muffler so his car would sound like a ferrari.... doesnt quite work like that.
