How do you guys make this work? (exhaust)
Wednesday, August 03, 2005 9:09 AM
I see some of you guys running a 25"+ size resonator WITH a cat.. Now Ive looked under my car and it doesnt seem like a 25" resonator let alone a 29" will fit under there WITH a cat? Am I just blind and it will fit with no clearance issues or what? lol

Does anybody have pictures of this kind of setup..? Thanks.

i have a 30 inch on mine...

thats 30 inches all resonator...with tips (which mine didnt come with, it would easily be a 35 inch...

like said, move the cat forward slightly... mine is moved 1.5 inches...

i moved my cat right to the downpipe bend and then put a 24" res. right after that and i had about 1 1/2 ft to go after that my cat was 14" long

No, I do mean 29" I was reading a registry on here and thats what he said he had in there.

Thanks guys I didnt realize or think that you could move the cat up to get the resonator to fit.

I have a 26" magnapack, and I was able to keep my cat in its stock position.

it takes a lot of exhaust reconstruction, and practically eliminating most of the B pipe that comes with your header... but it can always be done if you want quiet quiet exhaust.
