I have a 99 Z24 with an Injen intake. I am getting a the heat shield for it on Friday. I was just curios if any has one and will this give me any extra HP or is it mor for show than go?
Its more show then go. A heat shield does not itself create power. Like a heat shiled on a header or exhuast manifold.

it can depending on hot much heat is under there, and also if its an enclosed one....

actually a metal top with a lexan window to keep an eye on the filter condition.
