Very very excellent guide Inari.
Esp with the pics.
And you've included the parts about the flanges too.

But for Kyle to add to the installation follow this link:

<a href="http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=2&i=313128&t=313128">FLANGE ON HEAD </a>

You'll be able to see how on the cylinderhead itself you'll also want to port the bottom portion downward.

Now I didn't do that again this time around and there are still no leaks. SO however deep you want to get into it.

Also his guide shows the installation with 2.3L TBs.
I recommend sticking with a 2.3L TB also. Save yourself a headache.

Have fun,
-M

*claps hands* Yes sir, that shiny piece of paper that you have guaranties your knowledge level to be above us here newbs that obviously know nothing compared to your expertise in the field. If only you knew. I don't need a piece of paper to make me feel proud and boastful, sorry. I learn myself. You may be a certified mechanic, but I doubt just because you paid all that money and took all those classes you still don't have 1/10th the know-how in forced induction and fuel management that I do, and guess what, I learned it all from searching, reading, and doing it myself, no piece of paper can guaranty you that. That comes from YEARS of researching everything and anything you can find out there on your own, and then doing it and making it work right the first time. Overconfidence in your "master tech" skills can lead to bad things....As far as most certified mechanics go, *most* (not all ) simply read through the manuals step by step. Whoopie. Those are some good "skills" alright.

Annnyywas, I wasn't trying to be a smart ass. It's just a simple fact that this question gets asked at least once every damn week. When I first came on here and joined (Oh guess what, I had never modded a j-body myself either *shock*), I didn't hop on and ask questions that are easily found out if you just search and then get pissy when asked to search. I poked around for probably like 7ish weeks just reading what was going on, then I preceded to read, read more, read more on top of that, searched, read more. So yeah. This was also my first mod as well. It's not that hard.

Just so I don't come off as too big of an "ass", here's some info:
