My cousin got a 04 Sunfire, and he wants to start doing some little stuff to it, i.e. adding a cai and a cat-back, etc. He wants to find an exaust that is no where near loud, doesn't sound raspy/ricey. I'm just curious what kinda exhausts you guys are running and where you got em from. Thanks.

well, im running 2.25 inch piping, which is the best for N/A cars, go 2.5 if you're going turbo..........i've also got a dynomax super turbo camaro muffler with a single 2.25 inlet and dual 2.25 outlets......but the muffler is really up to you, some people run flowmaster or magnaflow too, even borla.....if you want it not that loud and raspy finish off that set up with a 30 inch resonator, that will be about what you want

If he is doing the full thing,

header - pacesetter
cat - magnaflow high flow
resonator - the bigger the quieter it gets... 24, 26, 30 whatever
canisters - louder normally, get an oval shape for quieter tones.

if he wants quiet, but wants performance as well, go with a 2.25" cat back with a resonator of some sort and a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler.

stick with quality parts and you wont have any problems.... cheaper isnt always better.
