i just received my rk sport ceramic header. it seems to look like stainless steel, i was wonderig if nayone else had one? i thought it was supposed to have a dull finish, mine is shiny. i just wanna make sure i got the right header. thanks.

they are supposed to be shiny....they all come that way

my 4:2:1 rk CC header isnt really shiny just a silverish color

do you know what you just bought? not only is it pretty looking, but it will keep the temperature down in your hood. im getting ready to buy a 4:1 ceramic pacesetter header from gravana for 220. cant wait till this friday !

yeah i tried installling the damn thing and it went great, had evyerhting off,until i got to my cat and saw it was rusted so bad it was one peice with the rest of my piping. off to be welded. dammit.. so everything i did myself already i will hafta pay a shop t o do agian. UNLESS i do half of it myself and drive to the shop with a split open exhaust, wouldnt make it far around these parts...i am well known by the police for my car..unfortuantly . small town living...it sucks

My header also came looking like it was stainless steel, but then turned to ceramic after a short while.
Just to let you know, the gasket on the 4:2:1 goes after a while and I ended up needing a new flex pipe which RKSPORT sells for about 45! I love the header, but I guess with my set up, I punctured a whole in the flex pipe. Now I have engine mounts, maybe it wouldn't have moved as much
