Im looking into buying a set of the accel thundersport plug wires from gravanatuning.com. Has anyone had any problems with them? If so what was the problem?
i have them, they work well
I didn't think our cars used spark plug wires?
do the larger diameter wires give any hp gains or is it all for show?

thanks for the replies everbody. i went ahead and ordered the wires.
I've had mine for about a year or so now. The only problem I have had was one of the metal pieces that clips onto the plug got separated from the boot and is now stuck on the plug... making the plug impossible to get off basically.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

you dont get hp gains from wires period.
larger diameter is mainly for better sheilding.
theres no point in having 10mm wires or larger on a car that cant even destroy 8mm wires.
I have the 300+ Thundersport wires and I really like them. Combine them with iridium plugs and you will be very happy. You notice right away how much smoother your engine runs. It's not about the diameter of the wires it's about the resistance and how much current can pass through.
I'm using Taylor Spirocore wires on my 2.4 (with remote mount coils) and they're great. Not cheap tho.
Nology is supposed to be the best, but also freakin' expensive.
