Yes I searched......
I saw awhile ago where the guy with the 03 sunfire made a post on how to install the mounts and he had it pretty outlined and I can['t find it now. Everyone elses rundown of the install is pretty bland (i.e- lift car, support tranny, un-install stock mount, pound in new mount, re-install)
Like for instance the middle bolt on the front mount is harder than balls to get off because of the little latch over it, what did everyone use to get it off?
And secoundly, OMFG the rear mount is seriously jammed behind the engine, can anyone give any suggestions on how to go about it?
Again I've searched many times, some came to be useful, most helped me 0, so please remember answering this may in fact eliminate another post like it in the future haha

that little latch on the front one is like a "j" clip that holds the bolt in there
use a big breaker bar with your socket, that should do the trick (it did for me)
as for the rear mount.... ugh (this might be different cause i have an eco but...
i ended up getting a very large extension to get at it from the top, that along with an angle drive so it didn't have to be straight on.....
so i got the bolts from the top, but the mount came out from the bottom
i think if you looked from the top down right next to your brake master cylinder you'll see what i mean, and if it is that much different from an eco.... disregard all of what i said
i went at the back mount from under the car... some suggest you lower the subframe a bit to get it out but you can remove it without lowering the subframe.
as for the bushings, there are metal tabs that you bend and then the stock bushing should just push right out. to get the new one in, i used a vise and a few 2x4's to get it in.
hope this helps a bit...
You cant turn the nut on the front mount. You have to take the bolt out.
To get it out you need to remove the fender liner, washer fluid resivor (drain it by pulling one of the washer fluid lines and running it dry and then disconnect the plug for the pump motor), and the intake resonator "bong".
These are the two black plastic things having sex in your drivers side fender under the headlight.
Most people would just leave the bong out and you will most likly destroy it anyways while trying to remove it.
You need to support the tranny with a jack that has a block of wood on it to take the tension off the mounts. Just raise it until the tranny lifts slightly. Other wise you will strip the mounting bolts and they are around $5 a piece from the dealer and no one else makes anything like them trust me.
Also Id agree the easiest way at the rear mount is with some extensions and an elbow.
Here is the post you were looking for though.
