hey i got the shift enhancer today. i noticed it says up to 98 cavaliers on 4 speed auto transmissions. i have a 2003....what gives? will this work on my car. it uses the same plug and is a 4 speed, so idk why not. and also the installation is confusing. the only guy to make a post about it on here had it for a 98 4 speed auto.

If it is B&M number 70380 then you are ok. The only diference in the trannys is how they bolt up to the engine.
hey thanks. i installed it and im lost in the results...it seems to shift quicker from what i have noticed. before some of the shifts the tach will go a lil into the redline before it shifts...is it supposed to go all the way into the beginning of the redline for that? and the wheels squeak a lil during shifts, i guess thats the tranny jolting?

I'm thinking of doing this mod as well and had 2 questions...
1. How do you change the setting? Do you have to crawl under the car to get at the tranny switch?
2. Everyone is describing the wheels chirping - is this gonna draw a lot of attention from cops?

1. You can put the switch where ever you want. There is enough extra wire to put it in the car. Mine is under the dash.
2. I dobut it, but driving like an idot trying to make your wheels chirp might.
its not really even a chirp in an stick the tires will make a noise that sounds like a chirp where as when the auto with bm shifts its got this werid high pitch squeak noise etiher way its fun as hell.
