customcargrills.com ecotec crank pulley

Anyone have one of these? Is there any weight different from theirs any the one made by RSM. I know it's a lot cheaper. Their website says out of stock so I called them up and they said they would need a minimum of 5 orders at once to make them. Just want to get someone who has one to give their opinion on the quality.

Id like to see if we could get 5 people to go in on it, there needs to be another alternative, and I was just about 1 week away from getting in on the old one.

Ok, just sent off an email hopefully we get this designed, I just think it can be better than 160-180 range, seeing as other prices are considerablly less.

I will notify anyone who expresses interest and hopefully we can make it go through this time.

only thing I noticed is that the customcargrills one is 13.9 ounces and the rsm one is 12. whats the stock one weigh? just looking to see how much you can free up in this way.

Ok the RSM pulley is only 160 on highrev's site as opposed to 180 on rsm's site, and customcargrills is 130. So is 1.9 less ounces worth $30? Can anyone weigh their stock one?

I was wondering if it 's true that your tach wont keep up with a lightened pulley. Anybody have this problem?
I dont think people mind 1.9 ounces if it's $30 cheaper.
If it goes through, and I have funds, I'll def be in!!!

I tried a GP a while ago--but it didn't work out. I think he only wants $130 for the pulley plus shipping.

Mine's been on for over a year and I have had no problems with it. It is a quality product. I have the stock pulley sitting in the garage. I'll throw it on a scale and get a number for you guys.

And yes they do come in purdy colors.
Mine is blue.

Thats awsome, I still would like to know what the stock one weighs before I decide. The 1.0 ounces might be a big difference and it could be very small. Won't know till we get the weight of a stock one. I dont really feel like takin min off just to weigh it.

I meant 1.9 ounces not 1.0.

to give you an idea (this isn't exact) i put my stock pulley on our bathroom scale and it was close to 5lbs.

as for the stock tach keeping up... it only has problems when you free rev the car...

so 1.9 oz is very minimal in comparison, being 16 oz = 1 lb
stock = 80 oz
ccg = 13.9
rsm = 12

1.9 / 80 = 0.02375 so a 2% difference in freed up HP

another 30 bucks for 2% to me isnt worth it

agreed... I could hardly tell the difference from the stock one after I installed the new ccg one. and that is like...66 ounces. I dont think 2 will make a difference.
