I was browsing e-bay and came across this intake from Weapon-R
just wondering if anyone has any input on this? I am just curious I already have a intake and am not looking for a new one. I just dont remember seeing one like that for a j before.

it's similar design to Comptech's Icebox systems for many honda applications. they seem to be a cross between a ram air and cold air design and quite functional, work rather well. I'd go for it and tell us how well it works out for you.

all it is is a box that acts as a heat sheild, which you can make one for 5$ or less.

you cant ram any air past a filter as the filter is the first restriction for air being rammed.

decent idea though, i;ve got the same on my car, but self made, nothing spectacular though.

I hope you realize it's just a box like Event said, that doesn't include the actual intake system. It doesn't sound like a bad setup, I used to have it on my car.

It looks pretty legit, and I do like the nice clean look, but like Event said, it is just a box, and my friend made a similar one for his neon for next to nothing. In my personal opinion, it's not worth $60, but if you want to pay for the name, (And lets face it, we probably all have AT LEAST one thing on our cars that we payed too much for because of the name) then go for it. Let us know how it works out.
