i'm looking into a pacesetter exhaust system for my alero....2.25 in piping, with their own muffler and tips....here's a link to it if anyone has this i'd really just like to know how they like it, and what kind of sound it's giving them

the pacesetter exhaust is crap. Don't get me wrong, I like Pacesetter (I have one of their headers), but my buddy had that exhaust and it rusted out and sounded like crap just like 99redz24 said. Your best bet is to get a custom bent system with a muffler of your choice. It'll be about the same price as the Pacesetter, but you can tailor it how you want it.

You probably would be better off not going with the pacesetter. My brother had a Pacesetter exhaust, and it was good for about a year, but it started rusting out pretty quickly after that. Custom bent with a good muffler would be the best bet probably.

take it to an exhaust shop and have a custom catback made. it'll be cheaper, better quality, and sound better.
