I know the 95 LN2 is batch fire (MPFI) and the other years are sfi. i'm wondering if this has any effect on converting the fuel rail for top feed injectors. I need something in the range of 390cc injectors for the project and obviously... can't do that the way it is. I have seen one fuel rail conversion in this forum in the last month and was kinda reading up on it. Just curious... thanks.

You only need to worry about injector firing strategy when looking at injector size and type, and then it will only be an issue if the injectors are very large (or very small) in terms of fuel delivery. There's no reason why you shoouldn't do the conversion if you have the tools and time.

with 390cc injectors i should be fine in this case with fuel delivery?

That's about what I'm running on my batch fire 2nd gen. Your fuel pressure at idle will probably end up fairly low to get a decent idle.
