i would say no bigger then 2.25 and just get any cheap glass pack for a resonator they all do the same and the size is upto you on how you want it to sound honestly. you may not even want a resonator

get your magnaflow cat part number 94035

as far as a resonator, get as large of one as you can. event has a 30inch res, mine is 24 or 26 inch

magnaflow hi flow cat
magnaflow resonator ( maybe 24 inch? )

2.25" mandrel bent pipe
brand new O2 sensors ( just so i can say everything on the exhaust is brand new lol)
and havnt decided on the tip yet but im keepin it around 3"

debateable subject. I have
a header 2.5" down pipe and 2.5" Cat and a 2.5" 29" resonator to a Cross Flow (Camaro muffler) Dynomax Super Turbo. My resonator is Cherry Bomb Glass pack. I didn't have the time to find a magnaflow resonator plus i was getting my whole set up done for $75. out of town so pick up the glass pack which is usually what a resonator is.
I am not sayin that 2.25" is not optimal but this is a debateable subject. Some will show Dyno's done to prove 2.5" is better but they that will bisputed because the tests were not run on the same day.etc..

2.5 is going to give you more hp. For a 2.2 id say 2.25 but for a 2.4 you should go to 2.5. I havent posted on here in over two years but hasnt everyone seen the dynos on isuzuperformance.com? They ahve a dyno on there proving 2.5 is better.

As i said you are going to see both sides. Someone else is most likely going to come and say it is to big. I went with the 2.5" i have no dyno number but it was an improvement. i had a 2.25" before but when i put on the 2.5" I also put on a header so i have not idea how much gain because the whole exhaust system was done.
