Galleria Mall (Dallas, TX)

So for those of you in the DFW area how is the Galleria mall? Is it big, nice, expensive? I live in SHreveport, LA and the malls here suck. My wife loves the mall as any other woman does. We dont have anything planned for Laborday so on monday were going to drive out to the mall and check it out. Also want to go to Hooters and eat and buy a T-Shirt. She collects them. We have one from Indianapolis, IN, Greenwood IN, Shreveport, LA, Beverlyhills, CA and now we need a TX one.

Just wanted to know how the mall was. Didn't want to drive 3 hours to a small crappy mall.

the galleria is a nice mall they were adding to it last i went. prices arn't that bad. and if you head down further south on 75 Northpark is a nice mall to they just got finished adding to that mall. Grapevine mills is a fun one too just go up 635 till you get to basspro drive.

galleria mall is a more upscale style mall. its older but caters to the upper middle class, so not a bad mall. parking can be a pain its mostly garage parking and can be hard to figure out for 1st timers. futher north is the willow bends mall. its a nice mall. they are for the upper class as well so its not real busy.

the malls id recommend for out of towners:
3rd place - parks mall in arlington(2 stories with the AMC theater on the 3rd floor) smallest of the 3
2nd place - grapevie mills in grapevine(have gameworks / a 30ish AMC screen theater / rainforest cafe / bass pro across the street) very little shopping outside the mall area as well

and the #1choice would be..............stonebrier mall in frisco. its like a grapeving mills but its 2 stories (cheesecake factory) alot of shoping outside the mall(krispy creme doughnuts, if yall've never had its worth the stop just northeast of the mall). quite a bit or construction around the area but worth the trip to the mall.
