hey everyone,

I guess im needing new front tires on my car at 12k miles. Has everyone ever heard of a tire being completely bald at 12k miles. The size are 225/50/17. It sucks cause i only have 10 months left on the lease and i really dont have a choice about getting two new front tires. The back two are still brand new. I mean there is no tread left at all on the front and alls i have done is drive it daily for a year back and forth to work is all.

Here what i need to do.

Go to a dealer and try and get them replaced, which i prolly wont get no where

go to discount and spend $125 a tire each plus balancing

it really sucks, cause im kind of screwed in this situation cause if i dont replace them then i have a good chance of one of the front two popping on me while driving or blowing it out.

Anyone have opionions on what i should do.

also can anyone in the dallas area get me a discount on two fronts if the dealer blows me off which im sure they will.

your alignment is probably WAY off, causing the tires to go bald. maybe try to see if you can get the dealer to pay for it.

yeah on the alignment, its very hard to tell on my way to work since the roads here in texas arent perfectly level at all. I know when i let the wheel go it goes to the left, but that could be the road honestly.

im going to the dealer today on my lunch, but i bet i get a run around.

yeah i could 10% at work we have some 17's i will see if they are the exact same size as yours.

yeah i bought tires this morning at discount tire. @!#$ $300 for two tires.
