Well guys i got some bad news. William and a few others know of a club called The Outsiders. Well i saw them at the bass pro shop car show and noticed something strange.
Well it seems that the outsiders are no more, i will let you guess as to whom they joined together with but im sure you will only need one guess. Well if you dont wanna guess as to whom they joined with then im going to tell you. There are 8 brand new members to TEAM MAFIA.
Now i think we need to open to the suggestion of letting other people into our club. It will still be the texas J's but i mean letting other J's into the club, like the ION, COBALT, so on so forth.
Or we could make another chapter of Domestic Disturbance because there are some other nice looking domestics out there. But that is just an idea so its just something to think about. We can still be the texas J's when we go to the big meets but have another club name with other cars just a thought. Cause as much as i hate to say it team mafia is getting alot bigger.
Oh and the bass pro shop gave them there own class so that kind of helps things.
dosent surprise me any. most dont know of the other parts of team mafia. a racing part and the offroad part also. they will continue to get bigger since they take in just about anything and everything. thats why the attendence at shows prolly are dropping alot. remember last year when there wasnt any mafia's and the shows were bigger?? those that went to the shows last year. im thinking of trying to find out about anyother shows. im gonna write christi from carsroadshow about them having there own 2 classes yet 1/2 still compete in the other classes. we all know they vote for each other so that puts everyone at a disdvantage and not just us, but all the other classes. before long it will just be the mafia and some of the older cars since no one can win anything with 20-30 cars and they all vote for each other in their 2 classes and other classes.
im not opposed to letting others in but im not in this to have the biggest club. would it be nice, yes. but when theres a club that takes eveything domestic, import, luxury, offroad, racing, trucks. not only that but having the right people that dont give off a bad rep for the club like a handful of the mafia guys. most are cool but theres a few that walk tall and mighty with their nose in the air. it would be hard to have that large of a club since they've been around. besides id be afraid it would turn into a club vs club show and tempers could rise and im sure mafia would try to get some from any club.
if any know ones that have cobalts ions and the such that want to join im fine as long as they have the right attitude. we can change the logo down the road if it comes to it. get rid of the sunfires and cavys and just have texas j's. i say for know just concentrate on getting ones to show and meet up. but whatever yall feel. WE are the club im just helping head it.
hey just to let you know outsiders isnt completely gone they have just changed some stuff up.. I know why people go to Mafia!!! Because they are a large club that is becoming well known.. Thats what people are wanting.. They may take a lot of members but i can tell you one thing though they have some badass cars I know some of the members that have nice rides.. Dont hate on other clubs when you dont have anything Rollerz

MOther fawker im not hating does it sound like im hating on them no IM saying that they are getting bigger hence so should we. The guy with that white ION that was at the irving show said he would like to join seeing as how its a J in some ways. Ands from what i was told outsiders might have 1-2 people but the majority went to TM. Yes they have some nice cars now with the new additions but the majority are crap. Broken body kits, un-painted cars, i mean come on at least have a decent car. If you like them so DAMN much join them.

Say Will weve already contacted Christy two weeks ago when it happend at the South Arlington Show. Team Mafia is allowed to enter in four classes, TM1 Mild, TM2 Wild, Import and Motor Cycle. With the occasional 4x4 class. Damm it was hot today! No plaque but 7 cars competed in Custom Class and the guy with the ION took first place. He's a very interested, showing individual with a great attitude. This is the second time he's asked to join with us. We should invite him in the club. He said he might show at the Irving Hooter's next sunday if it's not to freak'n hot. I'll be there as well for sure.

Carsroadshow.com and El Chico in Flower Mound team up this year for the 4th Saturday night of the month car show. Show time is 5:00-9:00pm
these are both SAT evening shows 5-9pm $10 so we cant get kicked out.

Anyways...I emailed ya back Will. I would like to go sunday but i need to know some things (time, price, directions etc.).
Car isnt painted yet, grille isnt installed and i have no muffler on now!! Errrr
Plus im in the middle of another car deal (like what i did with the cav) and im trying to buy this 99 civic sedan ($2300) and trade it straight across to one of my friends (girl),for her 97 Dodge v8 5-speed 4x4!! Anyways...im tryin to do this deal before i paint the fire but i did get an estimate. 850 to paint kit, fenders, handles and locks, spoiler, trim peices on door and fix some things here and there!!

DAMN 850 sounds a bit high i will search around my area for some prices might be able to get it around 4-600 dollar amount if not a tad bit cheaper. Oh talk to paul and see what his price from his guy is also. I will let you know in the up coming days.
Oh and above he starts talking shat and thinks im not going to say anything about it, well hes wrong there. In my above said post about part of the outsiders joining TM did it sound like i was talking shat about them no. I just said they got some better cars seeing as how most of them have been under construction for years now. But no where in my post did i bash them umm let me see................................................................................................ NOPE dont see any where in my post bashing them, he asumes that im bashing on them. he then starts talking @!#$ about how his car has a better re-sale then my car. I think i wuld get more out of my car seeing as how its a 1996 with only 69k miles on it body is in decent condition, the interior is in far better condition then his non painted cracked body kit crappy ass interior and a engine that probably has well over 100k miles on it. This was in a different post by the way and then he praises a car club that would probably take him in a heart beat seeing as how he meets all the requirments to join their club and he bashes me DAMN THAT.

Dang guys clam down..... Sorry i wasnt able to make it to bass pro i have a leak or something i cant find it. Just smells really bad so its either engine or tranny (hope not) anyway ill try to get it looked at this week but idk i have school everyday but friday and i work in ther evening so we'll see. If anyone knows a good shop that is cheap let me know i dont have much money so ....

I need to get my muffler put back on! I have to have the muffler guy do it though cuz it needs to come out farther than it did. Hence why i had to cut it off (for bumper fitment).
Plus i dont even have the brackets for my sideskirts on yet!
BTW, the 850 is for, Both fenders, both bumpers (off the car), sideskirts (off the car), door mouldings (on the car) handles and locks (on the car) , door trim peices (off the car), Spoiler (off the car) and fixing chips on both doors, rear quater panel and maybe pulling a couple dents on doors.
775 if i dont get the spoiler painted and and extra 500 if i want eyelids molded on the hood and repainted!
850 is cheap cuz this guy does awesome quality work! Looks like glass!

I nver said we had to change our name with the exception of taking out cavaliers, sunfires from the sticker we have and going with Texas J's and adding the Ion, cobalt to our list of choices. I still think we are making a impact with the club we have now. Most of my friends are telling me that they cant believe the turn out in J's they see at the hooters shows along with the bp shows.
I think we should all vote on this the changing of our club name I vote we keep it the same Texas J's but make different stickers w/o the cav/fire on them and just put it at Texas J's so we can include the ions and cobalts. So what do yall think unless what will is saying that DD is changing our name and not us. Will you please tell us whats going on William??????

i was just saying what they are doing not us. we should keep our name. what we can do instead of taking cavs and fires off is when i get them made i could have it say ION by itself, or colbot or gto. depending on what car joins us. for the most part cav and fires make up the j's so we should leave it as far as im concerened.
Personaly i like the group we have with just fires and cavies, it seems more exclusive letting in 2 types of cars only. F DD if we are going to join up with another crew it should be Simply J's. We have already been invited to join the club and start a dallas chapter, I am pretty sure they are cavi, fire specific. I also think it is much more sick to have a group of the same kind of cars parked together at shows, or rolling in a convo, we could also get people in OK and LA to start chapters also. IMO, restricting a club to one state is kind of a bad idea, but you may also want to keep it small. Either way is fine with me, i will be happy with anything and i also think some of the mafia guys are real smug and one thing I cant stand is an arogant SOB. Personally i would like to win that damn trophy or plack for most members, it would be like slapping the sh*t out of the president for me. LOL.

I will stay after the show to debate with all. I too feel that we should not get as big as TM thing's tend to get overlooked when you get that big. They do 2 show's(sometimes) at a time at 2 different location's. Besides that we can't get a consistant showing going now, and these are just local 4hr shows, then when we try to have a sat night meet / discusion it's usually just me, william,derrek and ramon. I know life happen's to change things. Most of our group just post on here to see who's doing what and what's going on so when we discuss the topics addressed above we will post them if anyone can't make it out. I think the club is off to a good start we just have to work out the kink's. So I'll see ya'll Sunday. L8R!!
