Hey Mike, I have a shop that can do your body work but if you want your car within a month its not gonna happen. The guys at my shop always have a lot of work and can take about a month and a half, but they do very good work. As far as the price, it all depends if you want the whole car painted the same, another color, or just the kit and install. They did my friends four door camry and charged 1,400 but he had the kit installed, a hood scoop molded into his hood, and they painted the whole car from gold to silver.

As far as the sonic meet guys, I'm scheduled to work that day but I'll try to get it off.
Wow a month?! I just want my kit painted and after its painted and dry ill take my car to get the kit installed ...nothing fancy....i was thinking within 2 weeks i mean if you got many cars to work with then ill find a different shop ....whats the name of your shop btw danny? You think $500 will cover the paint the 4 pieice kit and get it installed??

500 is probably going ot cost you to get the kit installed and another 300 to get it painted. I wouldnt recomend you to get the kit painted then installed. You should install the kit first then get it painted because dependig if they have to do bodywork to the kit the paint might rub off or chip or they might have to cut so its always better to install then paint. also dont rush people to do your work the more time they take the better it is in the long run. if you rush people your kit might be off centered or the paint might have air bubbles or runoffs. so just chill on it and wait for it to be done right. laters

the thing is that i need my car to get to work and stuff like that.....a month without my car the thing is that if i do leave it in a shop for say a month i bet the its just going to be collecting dust instead of me using my car....i rather set an appointment till they are finished with the other cars until its my turn then turn in my car and get the kit painted and installed,,,,sooo the day i turn it in that is the day they start working on it...instead of just leaving the car there and they don't start working on it till 8 days or something i mean really how long can it take to do this job (if there was nobody infront of you) get the kit installed and fitted...1 day...prep work on the kit might take 1 day...then painting 1 day.....paint to dry 1 day.....wallah your done....at the most 4-5 days thats why i want to make sure that when i turn in my car ...they will actually work on it that day or the next...not let it sit there and finish other cars and not start mine....ill see if i can set an appointment or something.... 500 to just get the kit installed is TOO MUCH! my uncle said that with $500 i can get it painted and get the kit installed i guess ill tell him to hook me up on that....but danm $500 come on!

i dont mean that 500 to get it installed it just depends how much work has to be done to the kit. and how u want it. then the paint also matters what color your car is how much clear you want everything has to come int o consideration. what you pay for is what u get. by the way guys i might not have my car on teh 22 but ill still show up with jerry. will just have to wait and see.

Yeah Mike, exactly what Ram said (the more time you give them to work on it the better it comes out) but I understand what you mean about needing it for work and stuff. Since you only want the kit painted and installed it will only run about 500 maybe even less because the bomex kit is not that difficult to install. We can go talk with the guy if you want and you don't have to leave it there, they'll tell you when to take it so that they can start working on it that day.
Hey danny, my uncle is going to make some phone calls tomorrow to find the best price and best place to take it to...that would be great if you can work out something like that where you call me when is the best time to take my car in to get it worked on the same day...just wondering what is the name of your shop? Maybe thats the place my uncle says to take it too... Yah i have heard bomex kits fit in like a glove especially mine that is made of urathene instead of fiber glass...but yeah i just want to get the kit painted and installed...i just got the kit today YELLOW truck. And everything looks pretty good...might need a bit of prep for paint because there is some scratches here and there but that can be fixed before paint...soo yeah danny that would be great...whats your shops name? and where is it at?

Mike, my shop doesn't have a name because it's my dads and he just rents it to a guy that fixes cars and sells them, but its on saunders next to the creek about 4 blocks away from the highway.
Go get some estimates and if you find prices too high just let me know.
Roadrunner is supposedly doing some maintenance or something and its taking them forever to get my service back up. Anyway, I just want to make sure of what time were meeting at sonic on the 22nd. Since its a saturday really any time is good for me but i want to get it sorted out already.

Hey CYBERxNUKE, sorry that they told you that man, but its cause I'll probably have to go with you to tell them. If they don't know you they won't do your car. I can ask if you want.

Damn right good job on the wash!

Way ahead of you Edgar. I put the tails on last night around 3am. I'm pretty happy with the way they came out considering I had to do a little improvising with the rubber lining on one of the outers. Anyway I finally got RR back so I'll be at my house around 4. Give me a call whenever you want to get together at your house. 727-0911. L8R
