my car was in an accident and i got it back and it worked anran great for like 3 days and then all h___ broke lose.does my computer have to be reflashed.would that do anything or do i buy a new one.i have dummy lights comin on off as i drive and my theft will come on if i drive for more then 5 min. and then the car wnot start. please help

crankshaft poisition sensor 18.00 dollars
new ecm 146.00 dollars
ecm sends the light pulses to the injectors, crank shaft poistion sensor sends the info to the ecm i had this problem take the ecm to a parts store and have it taested if it tests good purchase a semsor this will eventualy go out so be wise about it also i could be wrong but i had this prob

Check the plug for the Ecm and check the Ecm, it's in the fender on the passenger side. Most os the time, it get hit and it doesn't properly after that.
