Simple question I just drained the oil out of my tranny and I can't find anything on how much fluid to put back into the tranny.
I've already put in 2 quarts if i put in to much is it a bad thing to do this, im on my third tranny I really don't want to brake this one.

There should be a check plug on the side of the tranny. Above the drain plug. Can't remember which one though. Pull the check plug and fill till it dribbles out.

getrag....most overfill those trannies. i just put 2.5qt of B&M Synthetic....i think people put in anywhere between 2.2 - 2.7 in attempt to help alleviate that damn tranny noise the getrags have.
oh...wait...i just assumed you have 5-speed. if automatic, i don' t know

Yeah he's got the 5 spd. Wasn't sure if the 2000's were subject to the rattle.
