Eco 2.4 VVT

I'm not sure if i'm right about this.. but heres what I think. The new 2.4L Ecotec features VVT is this system complicated? because to me changing valve timing seems like a costly repair if something fails in the future. Am i right?

If you dont know how to change the waterpump on your car, just wait until you have to pay someone to do it. Talk about a costly repair
