Gear poke problem

I dont know the english word for it so ill just call the stick you change gears with a gear poke
But since a couple of days its kind of acting annoying. Its harder to push it into gears and you hear metal scraping against metal. Do you need to oil it or something?

Stick will do fine Dick h. Where are you from that English gives you a hard time?
Anyway to keep it simple for you first you need to let us know where this sound is coming from. After that we can see if anyone here can offer any help.

the sound comes from directly under the stick. Also before when pushing it from 2 to 3, you only had to push it slightly, and it found its way. Now you really have to push it up-right-up roughly.

Thats kind of tough to say with out being there. If you've never done anything like this before you may want to get some help from someone localy who has worked on cars before. It could be the linkage but its hard to say. Good luck sorry if I wasn't any help.

Hi Dick H

as the Jackalope says -it could be the linkage.

It could also be that the clutch needs adjusting-

or is low on hydraulic fluid if it is hydralically operated.

Someone will let us know which system you have, I am sure

Good luck

I would check the fluid for the clutch master cylinder.

Our clutch can't be adjust.

It will be in a little bottle right near where the brake master cylinder is.
