Hey guys,
I have a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier 2-door. It is an 2.2 Ecotec engine. Recently I have been smelling chalk like smells from the car a couple minutes after I have it on the road. I think it's coming from the vents but I could be wrong. My air conditioning is very lacking and not cold at all says my sister and I feel the same way. Could this be due to the air conditioner needing recharged or something? How much would that cost? Thanks!
would this stuff work?
Arctic Freeze with Trigger Dispenser
Is that the kind my car uses? Some guy said use the low pressure for adding it. Is this hard to find and is this hard to use? Would I need more than just this one can? What should the gauge read?
all three of those would work the same: temporarily. if you have a leak, you will always have a leak until you get the a/c system serviced. if, however, you'd like to start down the path of wasting money by just topping up your 134 every month, all major chain auto parts stores carry those same exact packages, for about the same price, and can at the same time, explain to you how it works and where it goes. as a side note: do not get a setup like in the second link you posted. get the dispenser like the firs or third, as it can be used on any can of 134.

well i don't think i have a leak, because it worked very well when i first got the car about a year or two ago.

if you EVER have to add r-134, you have a leak. it's that simple.
