Well I've asked this questions quite a bit in the past so i am hoping maybe people have some experience on what it might be now.
I have a 2004 cavalier. My idle likes to stick sometimes around 2 1/2 RPM's and other times it will drop to about .400,.500 and bounce up just over .900 and then idle fine. I find that this happens alot more when the air conditioner is on. I have no codes and it's been like this for over a year.
Has anyone come across this.
There are plenty of threads about this cars idle. I would say the most common cause of erratic idle is the IAC not working properly, you can take it out an clean it or replace it. Also vacuum leaks or the MAP sensor could cause idle trouble to mention some.
