I have checked all over the web, and found allot of sites for replacement power window parts. This is what my problem is, my driver side will go down fine, but very, very slow to go up. Even stops sometimes along the way for a minute. I thought I needed a replacement motor, but some sites also talk about a regulator too. Can someone tell me if I need both. I can get a OEM motor for 44.95, or a regulator and motor for 86.95 (www.A1Electric.com). Thanks for the help!

you might as well replace both... you'll just end up replacing the other sooner or later...

x2
the power window system is known for when one goes, the other will be shortly there behind it... also if the motor is weak, the window will still go down fine due to gravity... but going up will be the problem... if you dont want to swap both unless you have to, do the motor first cause that sounds like your better bet... if its not, return it and get the regulator... .... but i would swap both
since i been though this i will help you. The symptoms you are describing are those of window motor failure. Your window motor is about to die, so i advice you keep the window up for now

and dont use it.
secondly the chances of a regulator going as well are extremely LOW! i wouldnt waste buying that part. i have changed my driver side motor once. didnt have to change passnger side motor its been 7 month.
i just payed 20$ for motor, cheap shop will charge 120$ for replacement
Thanks very much for the info!!! Anyone have a web site I can go to that they used? I really think I should go with a OEM and not a rebuilt one.

try a wreckers... just bring a cordless drill so you can drill out the rivets.... its a pretty easy install
