I am having a lambo door issue. I just installed them and I have adjusted the height screw all the way out and its about .5 inches from the lanch closing. In order for me to close the door, I have to push down on the door to make the latch line up and shut. Is this normal? Has anybody else came across the problem, and if so what's the solution.
Thanks,
Josh
I'm not sure I follow? The bolt holes that bolt to the door or the bolt holes that bolt to the car? I purchased this kit from Aplusperformance if that helps.
Thanks,
Josh
it just your strut pushing it up after a while its going to level out mine was like that

So its a common occurance? I did use all the factory bolts and I was thinking about replacing them tomorrow with the ones that came with the hinges. Not sure if that has anything to do with anything.
Thanks,
Josh
that should help. the factory hinge hardware has huge washers on the bolts and nuts that doesn't allow much in the way of adjusting the hinges. just replace the factory hardware with some grade 8 stuff and readjust. after a few weeks you may need to adjust the height again after the shock settles
mine did that and still does try this if its that close..the latch that it catches thats attatched to the actual frame of the car. Loosen those two blts and move it up I did that to mine and it made it come alot closer.
Thanks for the input. Replacing the factory bolts on the car is what allowed me to adjust the door so it closes better now. I still have to fine tune it though.
Thanks Again,
Josh
