Ok i just got xm in my car and when it was installed they put the Antenna on the roof of my car so i don't like it on my paint so i put in my window vent.
i want to know what ou think. is it a good idea or bad.

Well you might lose reception but other than that its cool. I mounted one there before on a vette cuz of the fiberglass body and he got crappy reception so we moved it to the deck lid.

and it also looks alot better there then on the roof.

Might want to think about the temperature of your car on a 90* day before you question the heater temperatures.
Should be fine there. Reception might become questionable the farther south you go (signal is more directly overhead, where you're roof may interfere more).

thats what i was thinking that's why i put it there.
and for now it seems fine i'll post updates if it works. i know some have put the Antenna on there rear deck in the child things.
