My grandma just give me her old 84 Cavalier. She drove it until it started acting up and cutting off so she parked it. Its been sitting for almost 7 years, hasnt been sat in or anything. It only has 89k miles on the clock and looks almost brand new on the interior except for the head liner is falling down and the steering wheel is sticky. Well anyways I drag this old girl down the road back to my house and I put about 2 gallons of fresh gas in her and I cant get her to sing a song. Now when I shoot ether into the throttle body it will fire up for 2 seconds and cut off. I have repeated this process about 20 times now and she still wont run by her own means. sounds liek u should double back and go with new plugs and wires sitting for that long only god knows what could of seized up on it
