ok i have a 98 cavalier z24 and i also have a set of 18inch rims with 115/40/18 tires i was wondering if anyone knows how far i can lower it with that size rim and tire.
thanks
You shouldn't have any problem with lowering as far as typical lowering springs or coilovers will allow (1.5-2.5"). For something like air ride that could deliver 3"+ of drop, you might be in for some fender rolling/tucking modifications.

you mean 215/40/18? you can lower it as low as you want. you still have the same overall wheel diameter so nothing changed
yeah thats what i meant. so even if i lower 1.8 inches it should still be ok?
Lowering 1.8 is no problem. Just do yourself a favor and get decent struts at the same time.
