since i had bought another engine i'm going to keep the old block and all and build it up for larger amounts of boost, i just picked this engine up from a junkyard for 500 with 86000 miles on it. i'm workin slowly cause i dont want to miss anything and i'll be cleaning up the engine bay and engine when i get it finished

Our motors stock are pretty stout. There have been some that have pushed 15psi through the stock block and it lasted fort a little while before popping. I ran 10psi consistently in Texas humididty and it was just fine. Its our heads that are the weak link not the bottom end. Our crappy heads don't flow for sh*! and with a nice port job can really give you a boost in power.

I still say a well-tuned LN2 can hold 300bhp in stock form.

here's some updates, i got the intercooler installed, and i got the engine put in today. i'm starting to put the harness back in and wire everything up, bout all i have left to do is alternator and bracket, ac compressor, oil, coolant and charge pipes and probably a couple small things here and there.

Disconnect all the lines and unbolt the compressor and its mount from the block. Should be no more than 4 bolts.
