In my sunfire you didn't have to take the rear seatbelts off

There was a notch in the rear panel and it just let the seat belt slip out.

The haynes manual said something about a notch for it to come out....didn't say anything about having to remove the seat belt...then again, i haven't pulled the rear seat back out either...

i didn't take the seat belts off either, the molding just pulls off
I didn't even take the molding off. All I did was lift up the back dash peice, take out the stock speakers, screw the new ones into the stock bracket, and slide the new ones in.
