hey all, i went to the track last night with a friend. he's always been more into the performance aspect than i have. i was always more into the appearance, until last night. i really don't have anything done to my car. we both have '04 sunfires. I'm not gonna lie, i was nervous as hell the first time on the track, but after the first run, it got addicted. i made about 10 runs and my best time was 16.71 @80.92 with a reaction of .5832. keep in mind that that was my first time to the track. now, i am more into the performance aspect instead of the appearance. just thought I'd share this with y'all. watcha think?

I think it's good that you've seen the light, and that you need to sell all that heavy audio junk to fund gas and tires...because you obviously need a lot of practice lol.

well i will say that track really SUCKED i was running a half a second slower then normal myself but it was al fun either way

bout average times. even with all the junk in your car it shouldnt make to much of a difference.

as far as selling all that "heavy junk", its just going into my wifes car as soon as i get her one. plus, I'm gonna upgrade my audio system. I'll admit, yea i need the practice, but i think those were decent times i pulled considering. and hell yea it was fun. the only time i wasn't racing was to let my car cool off, then back at it again.

theres room for improvement. my buddy has an auto 02 ls sport and runs consistent 16.0 and 60ft times are consistent at 2.2 hes basically stock with just an aem intake.
