Pulleys or HO mani?
Monday, February 20, 2006 7:11 PM
Now that I've got my exhuast all set up, I'm ready for some other upgrades. As of right now I have upper and lower mounts, B&M Shift Plus, AEM WAI, Pacesetter ceramic header, Magnaflow high-flow cat and muffler, Dynomax resonator, and full 2.25" piping on my Z24. I was wondering what might be a good idea for my next upgrade. HO manifold and TB? Pulleys? And what are the advantages of each.

i would go with the HOmanifold and TB..itll let your engine get that extra air that it wants and will compliment your exhaust nicely..a light weight pulley would compliment a lighter flywheel and clutch combo

You'll get more gains from the manifold and throttle body. A pulley only does so much...if you're lucky 1 or 2 HP gain with an Underdrive Pulley.

i remember someone dynoed with a LO mani on a stock engine and gained 10+ hp ..so i would imagine somewhere around that if you get the mani w/TB
