Just like the title says.........
I have a 2002 with the ecotec in it, and I'm trying to find a company, other than the rksport website, where I can find this header. I just love the design of it and when its sitting in their it just looks mean!
Any help would be appreciated.
it hits the rack on the 02 models , which is why rk lists it from 03-05
alot of the 02 guys that used it , ended up eating through the flex joint , and eating up a part of the rack
I tried to order it through RK and I never received it. So I cancelled my order. You can pick it up at
Gravana
Try Turbotech raching too. They carry Pacesetter, which I have and many others the same, and love it.
I'd help out more, but I gotta hit up class. Hopefully someone can help you further!
Thanks Eric, didn't know that fact!
i've seen it on a 02 cav........
so is it not recommended?
I'd get the pacesetter, but I like the look of this one a lot better.
Anyone else?
I notice you forgot the read the FAQ, so I'll paste a portion that might be helpful to you.

4-1 header gives you a high end gain.
4-2-1 is more to gain more low end tq.
Both show HP and TQ gains on a dyno as long as you don't have the ecotec header from RK... that one shows a loss of TQ.
In my opinion.. a 4-1 is better for the J's since the engines already produce enough low end tq.
Stick with the 4-1. Turbo Tech Racing has a GP going on them now for cheap. If you're all about looks more than performance then go with the 4-2-1, but remember that you won't be seeing much of it once installed. If you do go with a 4-1, get it coated or else it will be prone to rust.
To finish up your exhaust, grab a Magnaflow cat, and either buy a premaid cat-back or have an exhaust shop fab you one. Best bet is to go with either 2.25 or 2.5 inch piping. Go larger if you plan to boost anytime soon (i.e. 3'').
All this stuff can be found in the FAQ.
And I also noticed that your registry said you have a Z24 and you mention you have an Ecotec yet fail to mention any kind of engine swap. If this is the case, then an Ecotec header won't fit your, ummm, Z24.
Happy hunting...
In canada the car was a late edition 2002 and it came with the Z24 badging, so technically I'm not dumb, or a liar, but thanks anyways.
GEEZ! I thought by now everyone knew Z/24 were sold in Canada instead of being called an LS SPORT. Why all the hate ?
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

Did I mention anywhere, in any post, where I said you were dumb or a liar?? NO!! And I was unaware that Z24, in Canadia (please excuse that spelling, I bust on all my Canadian friends here at school), came with an Ecotec. See, you really do learn something new everyday. So please, no hate.
