I remember reading that if you put your e-brake up by ONE notch, it automatically disables it.

Or you could just take the wire off the tab that gets grounded by pulling the e brake and put it on a on/off switch like i did.

Hey skillz, does your switch turn off the annoying beeping the car makes when the ETS is off?

it dosn't beep because you have an aftermarket head unit

Yes, but TCS cuts spark and adjust timing so that you are still going slow once you regain traction. Sometimes its better to stay on the gas anyways. I made a switch like skillz did and just leave it on all the time.

Putting it into 1 or 2 turns off my trac-control. Plus the ebrake (1click trick) works too.

This will sound funny, but i have a 1997 2.2 cavi, and if i when i pull the e-brake the traction control is still on. I also have the 3 speed auto, and if i pull it back into 1 or 2 the traction control is still on. Is there any other ways of turning this off. I'm not sure but i think my computer may be faulty in some way. i have a header on the car, and my motor mounts where bad but the extra movement cause a flange on my exhaust to break while i was out of town one day. but untimatly i drove back down interstate about 90 miles open headered and my check engine light never came on. I have not modded the computer in any way. Thanks in advance for the help.

...okay, it may not, but i know if i try to do a burnout or anything by putting it in neutral and popping it into gear it won't pull, it acts just like a traction control. that is wat i always assumed it was. since my car doesn't have traction control. what would that be and how would i disable it??

^^^ Thats one thing you probably dont want to do, a Neutral drop, that could probably wreck your tranny something wicked.

Get a car that has enough power to actually do a burnout?
