as some of you might know from my last post in this forum, somehow/someway my muffler fell off. yea, it was welded on, and fell off, OR someone stole it

. but n e way, i am thinking about putting the stock muffler back on the car to get my through the winter, then decide if i want another aftermarket one, or keep my stock one. When i got the aftermarket one put on, they charged $70, which i thought was high, but the stock ones position was warping my rear bumper (put a new body kit on). So i payed it. Well, i dont want to pay $70 if it only is going to be on through the winter. so i'm wondering if $70 is the norm or what did u guys pay? if its always around $70, then i guess i'll go ahead and pay it..if u guys are paying like $30..then i'll look around, AND if u could, let me know where u got your done at....thanks
Check around, if you bring them the muffler it should only take 10-15 mins to put on. I think you are getting ripped. My friend just had our local shop do a catback on his jeep for $148, the only thing he bought seperatly was the muffler.
