popular mechanics just tested that product and said that it actually hurt the performance of the car on the dyno.
plus i'm not really sure where you're getting your numbers from. A CAI should only add like 5-6 hp i thought and as for the 17 and 19 where did those come from?

NOPE.
The turbonator does not work.
Why do you want a plastic bilge pump in your intake track?
If those blades break, your engine eats them and dies.
Besides it only produces .25 of 1 psi, not enough to do anything to your car other then slow it down.
Do a search about it, and read the FAQs.

The product swirls the air which in term should make it burn fast i was planning on adding 3 side by side in the intake thats why the numbers multliply after you ad one you have to recalculate
im not being a stiff but how is it going to stall the car its an open ended fan it can only direct the air...... does it make anysense?

Its swirling air, into a metal plate. Which stops the swirling air.
Besides, a supercharger actually forces air down the Intake maniflod into the engine.
Here's an idea for you.
Get a Leaf blower. put your mouth over it, and turn on. Do you feel that? A supercharger works like that.
Now put a turbonator on the end of the leaf blower. Try that test again. What happens?
Less air flow.

go to the site relize that its not a metal plate where are you getting that idea all it does is makes the air go in the engine faster.... a footbal spirals making it more areo dynamic essentially it would reduce air resistance if the thing actually works?
I don't even have to click the link to know this intake is bulls*t, LOL. 35HP from just an intake is complete crap. If there was such a power gain from this, I think AEM and Injen and whatnot would've come up with a better intake then the CAI or WAI.

Do you know anything about how a car works?
Well what happens when you put your foot on the pedel?
A cable is pulled, opening a valve in your throttle body, Which inturn pull more air in.
There is an actual vacuum effect. You can see that for yourself, by placing your hand over the TB while the car is on.
Now as the Vacuum increase, due to a larger opening in the TB, more air will be pulled in.
Now if you have a fan in its way, It will pull on the blades of the fan making it faster, but its still limiting incoming air, by taking up air space.
The more vacuum that is pulling on those blades the more it stresses. Soon , very soon, the blades will break, and get sucked into your engine, where it will either melt on or crunch.
Both not a good thing.

This is a throttle body. Not a J's, but it serves the point.
That is the metal plate the air slams into before it enters the engine.
So adding a fan inroute is just another obstrution. Though the TB has a purpose, The TB limits incomming air. if the valve is closed, very little air can be inhaled per say, meaning low RPMs, car will idle. Now As the TB open, by appling your foot to the gas peddle, pulling the cable, opening the valve, more air can be inhaled, Meaning higher RPMs, Power.

seriously listen to these people its not jsut one person telling you its crap. obviously you do need to learn abit more about how an engine works cause then you would realize this is only a gimick without wasting time and money on a dyno.

The turbonator has been proven many times over and over NOT TO WORK! It's pretty much common sense that something so cheap could make such a huge difference. I mean get real here! Why would people spend $3000 + on superchargers and turbos if they could get the same result with a $100 leaf blower? Is everyone on the org here backwards? NO!! Believe us, and don't waste your money. I don't wanna be reading a post in a few weeks titled "Chunks of plastic in my motor - how to fix?" under a different user name. Just listen to us.

thats funny. The only time this would be able to do anything, as minor of an increase as it could produce would be during WOT, or when the buttefly is completely open on the throttle body, but considering on my engine when you give it some gas with the hood open you can hear it suck air in, so im sure something in the intake tract, esp if its putting out less than 1psi will only further restrict the flow. Seriosuly man hes not being a dick, hes helping you out, ive been here a wwhile now and ive seen many people talk about these things, and even buy and try them and none have worked. On papaer it looks great but in real life its a bit different. Buy instead a 2.3 HO intake manifold and throttle body, some motor mounts from karo, and make your own intake from exhaust tubing and buy a filrter from pep boys of auto zone. Realistically youll gain about 10-15hp, and you WILL notice a difference in performance and it sounds CONSIDERABLY more mean. Save soem money, and buy things that are proven to work.

Those things are crap. You could put 200 of them inline or 1 and your not going to gain any power. Just buy an intake, thats about all you can do to the intake track on your motor. If you want to "supercharge" your engine just buy a REAL supercharger.
