I got help my friend change his lower right side motor mount, I havent done one on his 2000 cavalier 2.2L, Just wondering if anyone could tell me.If I need to lift the motor or have the engine lifted with a floor jack to keep it from falling?

some say to support the engine with a jack. but i never did and my lower mount went in
