Well reading your "Future Mods" I saw that you wanted turbo. If so, I would say spend your money on a cat-back...if it's a real near future modification, get a custom bent (mandrel bent) 2 1/2". That's my suggestion in spending your money wisely instead of spending your money twice in the same area.

if you go with a header get it ceramic coated

well i f you want and are getting a turbo. you wont need a header

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
well decided to go with just a cat-back for now. i have a question though? i heard alot of people saying that pacesetter cat-backs rust out and fall apart. is that true? if so what kind of cat-back would be best if i were to buy one not get it custom made.? thanks

Yes that is true, almost everyone on here I assume hates the Pacesetter cat-back, I took the liberty of finding a few examples of some cat-back exhaust systems, the "major players" are the Magnaflow and Borla, I havent seen any cars with the other ones, yet. Here are the examples along with the websites:
1. Magnaflow (Single Exit/Dual Exit)
Magnaflow **The mufflers shown on the dual exhaust arent exactly as pictured, they are round canisters, not oval ones.**
2. Borla (Single Exit)

3. Vibrant (Single Exit)

4. RSM Racing (Single Exit/Dual Exit)

5. Isuzu Performance (Single Exit) **You'll have to scroll to the bottom and select your engine type**

thank you very much alex. i appreciate that

Or you can just wait until you are boosted, then get yourself a 2.5" custom catback built for less, that will flow better under forced induction than your 2.25 that you will pay 3x as much for now and want to redo it anyways. Just wait on both. Save your money for boost.

wow good point.. never thought of that. i guess i can wait a nother 8 or so months for cat back. i have a nice muffler on for now anyways. thanks....

not a problem man. think of it this way. when planning a project, you have to sit down, brainstorm, and think it all out. don't get ahead of yourself. think about what you have, what you will need. and when you think about the things that you are going to add later on that might conflict with what you want to do in between now and then, you can save yourself some time and money.

Like he said. You have $200 to spend. Buy a throttle body, or MSD. Buy your FMU, or a SAFC. YOu could dyno tune the SAFC and gain some now and have it for when you are boosted.
