Exhaust flange

I was looking into makeing my own cat-back exhaust but i did not want to have to cut the old one so i am looking for the flange to bolt up to the cat but i do not know where to find it any suggestions oh i also have a 1997 cavalier with a 2.4 liter if that helps.

Have you tried to take the original exhaust system out yet. Because i'm pretty sure you need to cut it.

Yeah i think i can get it out but like i said i wanted to make a custom dual exhaust but i don't want to cut the old one and the reason is i live in maine and it is very hard to get a inspection sticker with a aftermaket exhaust most ppl won't touch a car here if you have one so i wanted to keep the old exhaust for when inspection time comes so i can switch them.

I had a rough time finding the 3 bolt flanges for 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" piping when I made my custom setup, but did find them. All you have to do is have those flanges welded onto the pipe and bolt it up.
