Does anyone know of any local shops in the dallas area, where i could purchase 2500-3500 wetsand paper. Im getting ready to finish my car, but i want to wetsand with that high of products and buff it out, so it will be a glass finish. I did find them online but wondering if anyone know of any local shops.

why don't you see if a shop will sell you some?

man that is like sanding with notebook paper. I use a 1000 grit when I sand.
Believe it on not I saw what you're looking for at autozone over here in Arlington off of south cooper. I'll swing by later and see if they still have some. It was on clearance too. Evidently most people around here don't wetsand their cars. lol

well 1000 is okay, but i plan on doing 1500 to 3500, before i buff out the car. Remember im going for a show quality car just not your normal paint job. Doing all the way to 3500, will make it like a mirror. My friend out of PA uses 3500 when he does show quality cars and you can definately see a difference.

I know for sure Autozone, OReillys, Napa will not have anything over 2500. I already called and did everything. Im not saying that your wrong, but i doubt it would be on clearance either.

You ever even painted a car before or worked in a body shop.
I mean you can paint a car and not even wetsand after it. Just leave it after the clear coat and polish it. But, that is really not the proper way of doing it, but thats prolly what most body shops would do.
