The newer J`s come with plastic fuel tanks, but will these work with the older as well? I have a 1996 Sunfire and it has a leak and would like to get a plastic considering then I shouldn`t worry about pinholes and such anymore.

the sending unit are different for both tanks
plus the plastic tank is over 2 gallons smaller
Yes, they work. Work will be required. I can't give specifics as I am use a 2003 wiring harness.
